Hapcheon Image Theme Park, built in 2004, is Korea's finest specialized period-piece open set with a backdrop from the 1920s to the 1980s. It is a filming set where over 300 films, dramas, commercials, music videos, and other visual works were shot—dramas such as 'Jeongnyeon,' 'Chief Detective: The Beginning,' 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' 'Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938,' 'Mr. Sunshine,' 'Stranger,' 'Gyeongseong Creature,' 'Capital Scandal,' and 'Bridal Mask,' and films such as 'Taegukgi,' 'Assassination,' 'A Taxi Driver,' 'Sunny,' 'The Age of Shadows,' 'Anarchist from Colony,' 'Man of Will,' 'Steel Rain,' 'Operation Chromite,' and 'Love, Lies.' Behind the Image Theme Park, the nation's finest bonsai park and garden theme park of 150,000 ㎡ opened. Along with the main building, the Blue House filming set, a bonsai greenhouse, an eco-forest experience area, and a wood-culture experience area are created, so adults and children alike can enjoy it in nature.
