Heyri Art Village covers an area of 150,000 pyeong and is located within the Tongil Hill Tourist Special Zone. Dreaming of the most beautiful village on earth, about 300 creators and artists from various fields, who have met certain qualifications and passed the screening process, live together in a community village. Heyri is a special community village with an integrated concept in which the production, exhibition, sale, and residence of culture and the arts coexist. Numerous galleries, museums, exhibition halls, performance venues, small theaters, cafes, restaurants, bookstores, guesthouses, art shops, and creative spaces for artists are all present. Most of the buildings in Heyri are open to the public as places for creativity and cultural enjoyment. Even as visitors are touring Heyri Village, creative work is taking place there. In Heyri Village, various cultural and artistic events are held seasonally, featuring participation or invitations from renowned cultural and artistic organizations both at home and abroad.
