Gimpo Battleship Park, after protecting the sea for the past 62 years This is the Capital Region’s first security awareness experience site, Ham-sang Park, created using a landing ship (LST) decommissioned in December 2006. You can have unique experiences such as a variety of attractions and security simulations. With a cultural tourism guide available, visitors can enjoy the exhibits more engagingly while listening to the guide’s explanations, including the Video Hall, the Ship’s Cabin Reproduction Space, the Korean War Exhibition Hall, and the Lieutenant Han Ju-ho Memorial Hall. Passing the upper deck and going up to the wheelhouse and forward-deck room, you find the quarters where soldiers lived, and through this space, you can indirectly glimpse life in the navy. If you climb up to the bridge at the very top of Unbongham, you can feel the atmosphere of the West Sea right before your eyes.
