장소 소개
Seongho Park is an urban neighborhood park built for residents' healthy leisure and fitness. Its name comes from the pen name of Yi Ik, a leading Silhak scholar of Ansan; connecting to Yi Ik's tomb, his shrine Cheomseongsa, and the Seongho Memorial (a registered museum), it is ideal as a Yi Ik tour course. Planted with 29 tree species including pine and 16 shrub types, with a wide site, parking, and facilities for all—soccer, roller-skating, playgrounds—it is a rest area for Ansan citizens. Its Danwon Sculpture Plaza displays works by mid-career artists and prize pieces of the Danwon Art Exhibition on a broad lawn for a unique flavor. At the plaza's center, 22 relief murals based on genre paintings by Danwon Kim Hong-do are distinctive works seen only in Ansan, Danwon's city.
