Jangja Lake Park was once a place with a strong foul odor due to wastewater, but it was restored as a neighborhood park through a water quality improvement project after apartments were built nearby. Within the park, well-maintained walking trails, a loess path, and a bicycle path are available, along with facilities such as a rose garden, a forest playground, and the Jangja Lake Ecological Experience Center. Hwangtotgil has become a popular spot for citizens who enjoy walking barefoot. In the rose garden, you can see the magnificent sight of blooming roses in early summer. Various concerts, exhibitions, and other events are held on the outdoor stage on weekends, and it is widely used as a resting space for residents. While operating the Jangja Lake Ecological Experience Center, we run ecological education programs for students and citizens.
