The flower field created at Guri Hangang Citizens’ Park is a place where citizens can share enjoyable times together. The park consists of a hydrangea tunnel, a rapeseed and cosmos field, a family healing campground, a circular field (nature study area), and walking trails. The family healing campground, located along the Han River, does not allow camping overnight or cooking, but with various facilities such as shade trees, restrooms, and drinking fountains, it is a popular spot for family outings. In May, when the scent of spring is rich, the Guri Hangang Rapeseed Flower Festival is held, showcasing carefully tended rapeseed flowers. Marking the Family Month of May, a variety of events for children unfold, and celebratory performances such as live concerts by popular singers are staged on the broad grass plaza. When the autumn river breeze is cool and cosmos are in full bloom, the Cosmos Festival is held at Guri Hangang Citizens’ Park. With beautiful waves of cosmos and various attractions and events to enjoy with family and lovers, you can feel the deepening autumn mood; it has already established itself as a famous metropolitan-area festival that draws many tourists every year.
