장소 소개
The [Anyang Dance Festival] will take place over three days from September 18 to 20 at Pyeongchon Central Park and Samdeok Park in Anyang. Since opening its first doors in 2000, the Anyang Citizens’ Festival has stood with the citizens for 23 years, growing beyond Anyang’s flagship festival to attract around 300,000 visitors annually, and establishing itself as Gyeonggi Province’s premier tourism festival. As a representative citizen-participatory festival where citizens create, engage, and enjoy, it contributes to building a local artist community and fostering a cultural community among citizens by focusing on the themes of people, citizens, and the citizens’ living arts content. Under the slogan “Let’s Walk, Run, and Dance!” we aim to give the idea of movement—walking, running, and dancing—such a broad sense of freedom to move the body, uncovering the latent movements and passion for dance throughout Anyang, and encouraging citizen artists to fully express their energy and dynamism.
