Seongnam Yuldong Park is a natural lake park developed to preserve nature as much as possible, featuring beautiful scenery such as lawns, hills, and a lake. Since the Baekje period, it was called Yuldong Park because there were many chestnut trees. In the park are the Cheongju Han clan Munjeong Gong branch burial site memorial stone (a Gyeonggi Province cultural heritage asset) and the March 1st Movement memorial tower. It also offers a variety of recreational and tourist amenities for visitors, including a large lawn plaza open to the public, a 1.8 km waterfront walking trail around the lake where people can enjoy nature’s beauty, a book theme park—a family space that encourages voluntary reading and blends curiosity and imagination—as well as a children’s playground and a dog playground.
