A cultural tourism festival inspired by King Sejong and Chojung Gwangcheonsu

This festival commemorates the historical fact that King Sejong stayed at the Chojeong temporary palace for 120 days, treating his diabetes and eye ailments with Chojeong mineral water while governing and creating Hangeul, re-illuminating the value of the king and the spring. It aims to spread the historical and scientific excellence of Chojeong water, one of the world's three rare mineral springs, and the value of Cheongju's pristine nature and health resources at home and abroad, building a foundation to grow into a world-class culture-tourism festival, and, on 20 years of achievement, to become Cheongju's signature brand festival.
