Agricultural Culture Experience + Direct Trade Market

It is an urban-rural harmony festival organized by Hwaseong City and the Hwaseong Agricultural Technology Center. This year marks the third edition of the event, scheduled to take place over two days, from Saturday, September 20 to Sunday, September 21, 2025, with various performances, a children’s drawing contest, and citizen experience activities planned. At the 1st and 2nd festivals, citizens really enjoyed and actively participated in the kimchi-making experience and the Chuseok Songpyeon-making experience, which are now prepared, and there are many activities for children and families to enjoy together. There are citizen experience booths operated with the participation of various agricultural research groups in Hwaseong City, where visitors can use a small fee to enjoy activities such as repotting, making herbariums, planting strawberry seedlings, herb sticks, and honey massages. In particular, the Hwaseong City Excellent Agricultural Products Market will be held, allowing not only children but also mothers to purchase safe and fresh food, and to meet trustworthy local agricultural producers in person.
