The Ryu Bang-taek Astronomy & Weather Science Center in Seosan, Chungnam, is named after Geumheon Ryu Bang-taek, who made the Cheonsang Yeolcha Bunyajido (a National Treasure star map). A replica of the star map is displayed in the lobby. The weather science center comprises an exhibition-education room displaying astronomical materials and instruments, a main observation room and auxiliary observation room for observing stars and planets, and a planetarium. Simple weather-themed activities are also available.
