The Gwangju Seochang Silver Grass Festival, a leading natural healing festival of the southern provinces, takes place along the Yeongsan River area, featuring a variety of cultural and artistic performances, hands-on activities, walking events, and a “spacing out” contest, all harmonized with the natural silver grass scenery. You can experience the only natural festival in the southern region right in the city by walking along the silver grass path and watching the sunset over Seochang fields, one of Seo-gu’s eight scenic spots. This year, under the theme “A Journey to Autumn Conveyed by Silver Silver Grass,” it will be held for four days from October 16 to 19.
