Haeundae, Korea’s premier beach and the nation’s largest sand festival held every May and June, promotes the beauty of Haeundae and the value of its marine resources and sand. World-class sand sculpture works, diverse hands-on programs, and performances are presented each year with new themes. 2026 is held under the theme of “Busan,” showcasing the city’s dynamic changes from the past to the present and into the future, as well as its captivating appeal that has captivated the world. The festival runs from May 15 to May 18, and the sand sculpture works can be viewed until June 14.
