The following festival details are from last year’s festival (2025); the 2026 festival details are being updated.*Haemi Fortress in Seosan, a national heritage site that has preserved 600 years of its history. Building on its deep history and tradition, and adding today’s sensibility, the 22nd Seosan Haemi Fortress Festival unfolds with a new story. This year’s festival, themed “Wisdom,” will present a variety of performances and interactive content that offer a modern reinterpretation of the wise lives and culture of our ancestors. From intergenerational cultural and artistic performances and classical music to media art that decorates Haemi Fortress—a unique experience connecting the past, present, and future unfolds throughout Seosan Haemi Fortress. It is a rich autumn festival that everyone, from children to seniors, can enjoy together over the course of three days.
