Mangsang Beach is a national tourist site located about 3 km north of Mukho Port, and along with nearby attractions such as Ok-gye and Gyeongpo, it is one of the famous tourist destinations on the East Coast. With its shallow waters, pristine seawater, wide white sandy beach, and dense pine forests, Mangsang Beach is the East Coast’s number one beach and a favorite destination for vacationers every year. Thanks to the expansion of accommodations such as a tourist hotel and Mangsang Auto Camping Resort, as well as various convenience facilities, it is transforming into a year-round tourist destination. Nearby stands the Okgye District Naval Battle Monument, which commemorates the clashes with North Korean forces during the Korean War and the achievements of our military.
