Samyeongdaesa Park is a cultural, ecological, and experiential tourist destination located in Daehang-myeon, Gimcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Samyeongdaesa Park was created by linking the beautiful nature of Mt. Hwangak on the Baekdudaegan mountain range with nearby cultural and historical resources such as Jikjisa Temple. The park’s main facilities include the Peace Tower, Gimcheon City Museum, Health and Culture Center, Solhyang Tea Garden, and the Traveler Center. In particular, the Peace Tower, the park’s landmark, is a five-story wooden pagoda. On the first floor, there is an exhibition space related to the monk Samyeong, and it is beautifully illuminated at night. In addition, the Gimcheon Municipal Museum is equipped with exhibition rooms introducing Gimcheon’s history and culture, as well as a children’s cultural experience room.
