Biseulsan Natural Recreation Forest is a popular recreational destination located within Biseulsan, where the natural scenery is beautiful and the area is rich in striking rock formations. It is one of the 100 Famous Mountains in Korea announced by the Korea Forest Service, and as a recreational forest of Mt. Biseul centered on Johwa Peak and flanked by Gwanki Peak of Cheonwang Peak, the forest is mainly covered with dense coniferous trees up to the mid-mountain ridge, while the upper ridge is spectacular with its striking rock formations and autumn foliage. The true flowers of spring, summer fog and valley camping, autumn foliage and silver grass, and the winter ice wonderland are all beautiful. Thus, Biseulsan Natural Recreation Forest is a place where one can relax with the gifts of nature throughout all four seasons.
