The festival food information below is from last year’s festival (2025), and the 2026 festival information is currently being updated.The Geumsan World Ginseng Festival, held in Geumsan, Chungnam—the birthplace of ginseng with a history spanning over 1,500 years—increases visitor satisfaction through a wide range of experiences, attractions, and affordable shopping enjoyed by all ages, including ginseng harvesting, red ginseng pack massage, red ginseng foot baths, the International Ginseng Trade Fair, and traditional ginseng culture experiences. Throughout the venue, visitors can also enjoy healthy foods made with ginseng and medicinal herbs. Since its inception in 1981, the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival has been held annually and has earned the distinction of being selected as one of the 10 National Top Festivals by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and has also been chosen as an Asian Specialty Festival by the IFEA World in 2024. It has built a strong reputation as Korea’s premier industrial festival and is emerging as a global festival embraced by people around the world.
