Busan International Rock Festival + Rookies on the BU-ROCK + Road to BU-ROCK + Food Court Lounge + Camping Zone, etc
Samnak, boasting the widest riverside area, is a sports and rest space with various natural environments and water-friendly spaces for citizens. Samnak Eco Park was, in the past, a vinyl-greenhouse cultivation area; in 1998 Sasang-gu Office created a sports ground on part of the upper Samnak riverside, and in 2006, through Busan City’s Nakdonggang riverside redevelopment project, it restored sports facilities and wetlands such as an eco-friendly farming garden for use as a winter-migratory-bird feeding ground, a water play area, and an inline-skating rink. Samnak Eco Park can be broadly seen in three parts: first, sports facilities for citizens at the topmost and central parts; second, large natural grasslands of reed and streamside-willow colonies and trails here and there toward the upper part; and third, the lower part composed of reed wetland formation and a place many migratory birds visit in season.
