The festival food information below is from last year’s festival (2025), and the 2026 festival information is currently being updated.The Jeongseon Arirang Festival is Jeongseon County’s flagship cultural tourism festival, held to preserve and develop the history, cultural value, and tradition of Jeongseon Arirang, Korea’s representative folk song. The festival will promote the value of Arirang, which is inscribed on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and will be operated as a festival that people of all generations can enjoy together through a variety of content, including performances, parades, hands-on programs, exhibitions, and cultural and artistic events that harmonize tradition and modernity. It also aims to be a community-driven festival in which local residents directly participate in planning and operation, and through programs that connect local cultural and tourism resources, it contributes to revitalizing the local economy and attracting tourists.
