Citizen Bell Ringing + Cultural Performance

장소 소개

Yongdusan is one of Busan’s three famous mountains. In the past, it was called Songhyeonsan because the sea could be seen through the dense pine forests, but later it came to be called Yongdusan because its shape resembled a dragon, and it was said to have the strength to swallow the Japanese pirates who crossed over from Japan. Yongdusan Park features the Busan Tower Observatory, a statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, a statue of Baeksan Ahn Hee-jae, a bell pavilion, a flower clock, and a dragon-shaped sculpture, and an escalator runs from Nampo-dong to the park. If you go up Yongdusan Park, it is a place with a great view overlooking Busan Port and Yeongdo, and if you climb Busan Tower at the highest point of the park, it is a beautiful spot to enjoy the night view of Busan Port and, in the distance, the South Port and other parts of Busan city. This park is not only a walking trail that citizens can use at any time, but also the most suitable place for a relaxation space. It is a well-known tourist destination for foreigners and is frequently used as a recreational area for the elderly and as a walking trail for nearby residents.
