The Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo is a dinosaur-themed festival held at Danghangpo Tourist Site in Hoihwa-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. Goseong County is widely known as one of the original sites of the world’s three largest dinosaur footprint fossils, and the festival has been held since 2006 to raise awareness of the value of the large and small dinosaur fossils found in various regions and to promote the tourism industry. The event venue, Danghangpo Tourist Site, consists of a Dinosaur Theme Zone and a Yi Sun-sin Theme Zone, and features an outdoor themed park including a coastal walking trail, hiking trail, and a dinosaur footprint exploration trail. The event is hosted by Goseong County, Gyeongsangnam-do, and as of 2026, the Goseong Cultural Tourism Foundation (Foundation) operates the Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo. The 2026 Expo marked its 10th edition and 20th anniversary, and will be held under the theme “Exciting Adventures with Dinosaurs.” In addition, through various exhibitions, hands-on programs, and performances each time, it has established itself as Korea’s leading dinosaur-themed festival.
