The Gyeongbokgung Starlight Night Tour is a nighttime exploration program that tours the northern area of Gyeongbokgung and offers experiences with royal cuisine and traditional culture. Traveling through the palace with expert commentary, visitors can explore the daily life of the royal family during the Joseon Dynasty and the historical stories surrounding Gyeongbokgung Palace. In the palace kitchen, Oesu Jubang, a special 12-course meal that offers a modern reinterpretation of the royal court’s traditional royal table can be seen in the form of a “dosut.” This year, a special changgeuk performance telling the story of the king will be presented at Jibokjae, Gojong’s study, offering a unique experience that blends the history of the space with the performance. Afterwards, visitors can gaze at the starlight reflected in Hyangwonji and enjoy a different atmosphere from the daytime amid the tranquil scenery of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
