Since its inception in 2022, the Gwangalli M (Marvelous) Drone Light Show uses “M,” which stands for “Marvelous,” meaning “amazing” or “wonderful.” The lights emitted by the drones blend with the night view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge, Busan’s landmark, offering visitors to Gwangalli a sense of wonder and mystery. Performances are held twice every Saturday evening (October–February in winter at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. / March–September in summer at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.), lasting about 12 minutes, and can be viewed from anywhere along Gwangalli Beach. From the weekly regular performances featuring 1,100 drones, to events during countdowns, Lunar New Year, and Chuseok, drone shows of various scales are being held, with up to 3,000 drones in some cases. * Performance schedule may be changed depending on weather conditions and other circumstances
