The following festival details are from last year’s festival (2025); the 2026 festival details are being updated.The Gimcheon Gimbap Festival is a regional cultural tourism festival held in Gimcheon City, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Although gimbap is not Gimcheon’s representative specialty product, this event was planned based on the region’s iconic image as “Gimbap Heaven, Gimcheon.” The festival will be centered around experiences, exhibitions, performances, and play-based content centered on gimbap, so that both Gimcheon citizens and tourists can enjoy it together. There will be a hands-on program where participants can make and taste kimbap themselves, and performances as well as experience zones will be set up to allow people of various generations to participate.
