The Gimhae National Heritage Night Festival is a nighttime cultural festival held around the Daeseong-dong Tumuli Cluster, King Suro’s Tomb, and Surungwon, where the spirit of Gaya lives on. It is an event where visitors can enjoy “light and history” together through night views, performances, hands-on experiences, and food. Along with walking through the night following the stories of history at cultural heritage sites imbued with the spirit of Gaya, visitors can also enjoy the pleasure of walking familiar paths. Through the eight-night program themed around “night” (Night View, Night Road, Night History, Night Stories, Night Tales, Night Food, Night Stay, Night Market), visitors can experience Gimhae’s brilliant Gaya history and cultural heritage in a unique way. Each program consists of a variety of content, including performances, exhibitions, hands-on experiences, food, and nighttime scenery, offering a special opportunity to naturally appreciate the meaning and value embedded in the National Heritage and to directly experience Gimhae’s unique historical and cultural identity.
