The 2026 Jung-gu Book Festival opens its second chapter by connecting the diverse reading cultures and entities within Jung-gu discovered at the 2025 festival and expanding the relationships within the city. Chapter 2, “Interconnectedness,” is a festival that reads Jung-gu, a place where stories have accumulated over a long time, as if it were a single book. It follows the time piled up in the alleys, the memories that remain in the old downtown, people’s lives, and the emotions the region holds, discovering and connecting the stories that already exist within Jung-gu in new ways. This festival will provide a space to connect people with people, places with memories, and cities with reading culture through books, and will be organized as an opportunity to share the depth of stories Jung-gu holds and the potential of its reading culture.
