The [Deoksugung Night Seokjojeon] is a nighttime viewing program at Deoksugung Palace that includes a “Seokjojeon Night Tour” with a professional guide, a “Terrace Cafe Experience” where you can enjoy coffee and desserts beloved by Emperor Gojong while listening to classical music, and a musical performance that tells the story of the Korean Empire’s royal family. Starting as a pilot project in 2021, it was officially launched in 2022 following high satisfaction and positive response, and has been held semiannually since 2023. Guided by palace attendants, visitors can experience the special opportunity of taking a time-travel journey to Deoksugung Seokjojeon, which holds the story of the Korean Empire royal family, and enjoy a multifaceted cultural experience program that allows visitors to remember their night at Seokjojeon through photos titled “Life’s Best Shots” featuring items from the Enlightenment period and souvenirs.
