The following festival details are from last year’s festival (2025); the 2026 festival details are being updated.*The Dongnae Eupseong History Festival is a representative historical education-oriented experiential festival of Dongnae District, Busan, that has continued for 31 years since the first Chungnyeolje in 1995. This year, it will be held under the new slogan, “People of Dongnaeseong, Connecting History and the Future!” For the 31st Dongnae Eupseong History Festival in 2025, the festival will mark a new beginning by further upgrading its flagship program, the live reenactment musical of the Battle of Dongnae, and combining it with media art to offer a spectacular performance. In addition, new content such as an outdoor escape room and an immersive video experience center will be added, making the festival richly organized with 51 programs across five categories from October 24 to October 26.
