Set against a roughly 1.5 km divided sea path, the festival offers a “Sea Path Torch Experience,” and is Boryeong’s signature marine festival where visitors can walk along the mudflats and feel the mysteries of the sea. A variety of cultural programs will be offered alongside an experience of walking along the mudflats in sync with the sea’s parting. During the daytime, a variety of family-friendly activities will be offered, including a traditional outdoor play performed for visitors to enjoy together and a hands-on fish-catching experience where participants can catch fish themselves. At night, alongside spectacular performances, the festival’s highlight—the “Sea Road LED Torch Experience”—will light up the night sea, creating a breathtaking spectacle. It is a festival where visitors can enjoy the mystery of natural phenomena and a variety of marine cultural experiences all in one place.
