In 2026, marking its 29th edition, the Bucheon International Comics Festival is Korea’s premier cultural tourism festival dedicated to comics, open to anyone who loves comics. This year, under the theme “Comics and Webtoons Are Easy,” the festival offers a variety of comic content programs and cultural experiences to increase visitor satisfaction through a rich lineup of entertainment, making it a festival that can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere. It is a festival venue where visitors can experience a variety of programs, including special exhibitions, a comic enthusiast event featuring meet-and-greet programs with artists, playgrounds and outdoor market booths offering hands-on experiences, and the International Cosplay Championship featuring cosplayers from 14 countries around the world.
