In Seongnam-dong, where young people gathered after it was designated an industrial city district and where literature and a culture of romance blossomed around coffee houses, a special festival centered on coffee will be held. The Seongnam-dong Coffee Festival is a citizen-participation cultural festival for everyone who loves coffee. Held every autumn, this festival is planned and organized by local merchants of Seongnam-dong and coffee industry professionals, and offers a rich program including hand-drip demonstrations, latte art experiences, a brewing competition, and tastings of various coffee brands. In addition, it has established itself as an open festival where people of all ages can participate, offering a variety of attractions such as a coffee performance competition featuring skilled baristas from across the country, experience booths for families, live performances, and food markets.
