The Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Group’s regular performances have been Anseong City’s flagship cultural content since 2003. The 2026 regular performance “Gombaengi Tteotda” by the Anseong Municipal Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe, representing Anseong City, is a performance presented under the subtitle “The Spirit of the Market, Stirring Gyeongbokgung!” It reinterprets the essence of Namsadang play—the six madang scenes—in a modern style. The performances will be held every Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Anseong Namsadang Performance Hall for about 90 minutes. The lively traditional percussion, blending the taepyeongso and kkwaenggari, along with a variety of attractions such as eoreum (tightrope walking), where performers exchange thrilling acrobatics and witty banter atop a three-meter-high rope, beorna, where the ground is turned, and salpan, where the ground is skillfully manipulated, offer a rich array of sights.
