The 23rd Yesan Apple Festival will feature the spectacular sight of the Yedangho Suspension Bridge, the largest of its kind in the country, along with a variety of apple-related programs that people of all ages can enjoy. By leveraging the local tourism resource of the “Yedangho Suspension Bridge” and selecting this year’s host site, the festival will be held as a celebration that simultaneously promotes Yesan apples and the region’s landmarks, starting with the symbolic Yedangho Observatory and linking it with tourism facilities throughout Yedangho during the festival period. With apple wine, apple desserts, and a collaboration of jazz, traditional Korean music, and classical music, the festival will be held under the theme “A Sweet Day at Yedangho,” introducing visitors to the taste and excellence of Yesan apples. Among the programs, the “Yesan Apple Sale Festa” is a Yesan apple sale market operated by the Yedang Apple Horticulture Agricultural Cooperative with the participation of Yesan apple orchard farmers. It will be held for only two days during the festival and will serve as a flagship program where visitors can purchase high-quality Yesan apples at affordable prices.
