Wanju-gun's flagship festival, the 'Wanju Wild & Local Food Festival,' is a festival anyone of any age can enjoy, where you can encounter wild, distinctive experiences not found in daily life amid Wanju's pristine nature and healthy LOCAL FOOD as a top local-food destination. The 2026 festival, under the slogan 'Blazing Wild,' features flaming clay-oven grilling, local bushcraft, potato samgut (earth-oven steaming), and large fire-themed events as its main programs; in addition, you can experience at once the mood of autumn along with memories, nostalgia, escape, and healing through nature-filled wild playgrounds such as Sirangcheon water play and straw slides, local tables prepared with care by chefs from the 13 towns and townships' women's associations, a local-produce direct market, and a wild 'Wapu' EDM music party.
