Held since 2008 under an eco-friendly theme, the Cheongwon Life Festival is a signature local event. It promotes the Cheongwon Life brand of premium farm products grown in pristine nature, offering themed exhibits, varied experiences and cultural performances, while giving students an educational venue to sense agriculture's present and future. By creating a place for local farmers and consumers to meet directly, it spreads the value of local produce and eco-farming; family-friendly programs deepen understanding of agriculture and rural life and offer chances to experience healthy food and sustainable farming. It has become one of Cheongju's representative festivals.
