Gyeonyang wild ginseng grown in germanium soil exceeding 500 meters has been called premium wild ginseng due to its outstanding quality, including dense and firm texture and high saponin content. It is the first in the country to implement a wild ginseng traceability system, allowing consumers to accurately know production information, and through the San-yangsam Guardian program, it maintains differentiated characteristics as premium wild ginseng through continuous quality control. At Hamyang Sangnim Park, Natural Monument No. 154, where the mystery of a thousand years lives on, this festival was organized to highlight the meaning and historical value of wild ginseng and the history and culture of Simmani, which are gradually being forgotten.
