The 22nd Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival is a leading Korean stay-type tourism festival held for five days, October 7-11, 2026, around the Seomgang riverside in Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon. Under the slogan 'Delicious, Stay, Shine,' it runs on the theme 'An Autumn to Stay, Hoengseong - City of Shining Taste!' Aiming to promote Hoengseong Hanwoo's excellence and brand competitiveness nationwide and to revitalize the local economy, it is organized by the Hoengseong Culture & Tourism Foundation. The festival comprises three themes - food, arts, and hands-on - across 14 programs. As a time-extending festival linking daytime (10:00-18:00) and nighttime (18:00-21:00) programs to lengthen stays, it is a win-win festival in which local merchants, farmers, and residents take part together.
