The 2026 Gyeonggi Ceramic Biennale is Korea’s premier international ceramic culture and arts event, hosted by the Korea Ceramic Foundation, and is a cultural festival held from September 18 to November 1, 2026, across Icheon, Yeoju, and Gwangju in Gyeonggi Province. This biennale, under the theme “Earth Makes,” is an event that showcases the new possibilities and value of ceramics created by earth and nature, as well as technology and art. In addition to international exhibitions and competitions, academic programs, and international workshops, a variety of other content will also be offered, including a kids’ biennale, hands-on programs, a craft festa, a ceramics market, and a traveling biennale. It is also an arts and culture festival in which residents, domestic artists, and tourists participate together, designed to allow people across Gyeonggi Province to experience ceramic culture.
