The 2026 National Theater SsokSsok Festival is a festival program held at the National Theater Stage Arts Support Center. This event is designed to make performing arts easily accessible to citizens in their daily lives. This festival is held regularly on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month, and admission to the various performing arts programs presented at this festival is completely free. It is operated with the purpose of expanding opportunities for local citizens to enjoy culture. The venue for the festival performances is the interactive theater “Ssok,” located on the first floor of the National Theater’s Performing Arts Support Center. Tickets for festival performances will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the on-site information desk starting at 12 p.m. on the day of the performance. These tickets may sell out early depending on the number of seats in the audience. This festival consists of dynamic stages that anyone—men, women, young and old—can enjoy comfortably and familiarly, allowing all generations to breathe together and have fun. The participating artists in the festival present their own unique styles based on popular genres.
