'Geotjaing,' combining a dialect word with the present-progressive 'ing,' means to walk and enjoy Geumnam-ro together. In line with Gwangju's declaration to become a 'public-transit, bicycle, walking city,' it is an event to overcome the climate crisis and create a street blending rest and communication in the city. In 2026 it runs on the first Saturday of each month from April to November, providing an environment where citizens can walk freely, with varied hands-on programs and cultural performances.
