장소 소개
Marking its 10th anniversary this year, the Wonju Rooftop Film Festival is a noncompetitive, free film festival held on summer nights in rooftops throughout Wonju, planned by local youth to provide Wonju with opportunities to enjoy independent art films, where screenings and viewing opportunities are scarce. In addition, with the aim of nurturing local film communities and active personnel, the opening film “Gangwon Short Film Selection” will be screened along with introductions to works by local directors. In addition, the festival is planned around audience (citizen) activists, covering everything from reviewing and selecting screening candidates, planning side programs, to selecting venues and managing booths, giving it the significance of a “community cinema” centered on citizens.
