In autumn, when Jeju’s nature shines its brightest, a special festival takes place along the Jeju Olle Trail. Held every November, the Jeju Olle Walking Festival is a mobile festival where participants walk the Jeju Olle Trail for three days while enjoying a variety of cultural and artistic performances, traditional games and village programs, and Jeju cuisine. Sometimes concerts take place against the backdrop of the sound of waves, and other times traditional Jeju performances unfold against the festive fields, while visitors can also enjoy a sensory feast of local agricultural and marine products made from the area’s fresh produce and seafood. With around 10,000 Olle walkers participating each year, the Jeju Olle Walking Festival is becoming a walking festival for people from around the world, with the number of foreign participants from countries such as China, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada increasing year after year.
