Hwaseong Haenggung, imbued with King Jeongjo’s grand dreams and deep filial devotion, is regarded as one of the palaces with the most outstanding scale and formality among the many haenggung palaces across the country, and is considered a palace that retains beauty comparable to Gyeongbokgung. Suwon’s signature nighttime tourism program, the 2026 Hwaseong Haenggung Night Opening “Moonlight Flower Talk (花談)”, is themed “Stories of Flowers Under the Moonlight.” Through various floral exhibition sculptures and spectacular lighting displays, it offers a dazzling yet serene nighttime atmosphere. Walking along the flower path that blooms quietly under soft lighting, you can feel the old atmosphere, nature, and the spirit of Joseon as if you are traveling against the flow of time.
