Since 2005, through the Anyang Public Art Project (APAP), Anyang has been installing public artworks throughout the city—in its beautiful forests and streams, everyday living spaces, and along roadsides—turning the entire city into an open-air museum. This is a tour program that, together with a docent, takes participants through the beautiful forests and streams of Anyang Art Park and the Pyeongchon area, as well as urban parks and everyday parks, to appreciate the public art works presented in APAP’s first through seventh editions, which began in 2005. It conveys stories of various public artworks that embody Anyang’s history and urban culture, including art, sculpture, architecture, design, and performance.
