Pottery, the earthenware that holds us: This is a special exhibition to be held this July at the National Gwangju Museum. By revisiting pottery, which has been close to us in everyday life and has stood with us for many years, we can explore its practicality, aesthetic appeal, and the stories embedded in pottery that have carried on its tradition. This exhibition will present more than 300 artifacts, including pleated-patterned bottles and large jars excavated from the Cheonghaejin site in Jangdo, Wando.
