The razor clam, mainly caught between December and March in the Namdang Port and Cheonsuman area, is very plump and large, making it in season. Razor clams are characterized by their chewy texture and mild umami flavor, and they are rich in nutrients such as protein, iron, taurine, and essential amino acids, making them beloved by many. The New Shell Festival is held throughout the winter, and many tourists visit.
