The 31st Hongseong Namdanghang Shrimp Festival is Hongseong’s premier autumn food festival, where visitors can enjoy the pristine sea of Cheonsuman and fresh seasonal shrimp. At this festival, held at Namdang Port—one of the West Coast’s premier gourmet tourist destinations—attendees can enjoy plump, seasonal shrimp, and experience a variety of performances and entertainment alongside the beautiful sea views of Namdang Port. The 2026 festival will be held from September 4 to November 8 around Namdanghang, with opening performances from September 4 to 6 and Chuseok performances from September 25 to 26. The opening and Chuseok performances will feature a diverse lineup, including Bin Ye-seo, Park Hyun-bin, as well as Jang Do-hyun, Yoo Do-hyun, Kim Jeong-ah, and Kim Seo-yeon, adding to the festival’s festive atmosphere. Namdang Port is one of Cheonsuman’s representative tourist destinations, rich not only in large shrimp but also in various seafood such as gizzard shad.
