The Siheung Wolgot Port Festival is a seaside festival where visitors can enjoy a variety of port experiences in the sea within the city. It offers vivid port experiences where the city and the sea blend harmoniously, as well as a rich program featuring food made with fresh, seasonal seafood caught directly by local fishermen, creating unforgettable memories for visitors. Through signature programs such as fishing boat boarding, barehanded fishing, and giant prawn fishing, visitors can get closer to the sea. The Wolgot Moonlight Concert and the opening and closing fireworks festival, which three generations can enjoy together, are among the most popular programs, drawing great anticipation from many tourists every year. In addition, visitors can experience hands-on fishing village port activities such as surprise seafood auctions and a dried seafood wholesale market, as well as making salted shrimp, all of which are exclusive to the Siheung Wolgot Port Festival.
