Located 18 km west of Wonju City, Ganhyeon Tourist Site is a recreational area situated at the confluence of the Seom River, a tributary of the Namhan River, and Samsancheon. On both sides of the river, jagged rock formations 40 to 50 meters high harmonize with the lush old trees and the dark blue river, while a wide white sandy beach stretches along the riverbank, making the scenery outstanding. In addition, clear river water flows through it, and the wide white sandy beach makes it crowded with water-entering summer vacationers in the summer. Across from the tourist complex, Ganhyeonam now has 37 rock trails, allowing visitors to climb the cliffs. Also, due to the constantly changing currents and variations in water depth, the water is extremely dangerous, so playing in Samsancheon requires very special caution, and camping, cooking, lighting campfires, fishing, and similar activities in the stream are also prohibited.
